Year 6 ‘Headlands Super Day’ – On Thursday 12th March, year 6 children will be visiting Headlands school to take part in a variety of educational activities. As these sessions begin at 9am, year 6 children must arrive at Quay Academy for 8.15am. On this day children will be walking to and from Headlands School, please ensure that your child brings a coat and wears sensible footwear. Children will arrive back at Quay Academy for lunch, school meals should be booked as usual. As this day includes physical activities, children should wear their PE kits.

 

Red Nose Day – On Friday 20th March, children are welcome to wear non-school uniform for a small cash donation. All funds raised will be donated to the Red Nose Day Charity. Red Noses are now available to purchase via the MCAS app, please look under the ‘Store’ section. Please note that we will not be accepting any cash payments for noses – they must be bought online. Noses will be handed out to children, in their classrooms, over the next couple of weeks.

Thursday

Chicken and Vegetable Korma with Wholegrain Rice, Cheesy Vegetable Hot Pot, Cheese Sandwich, Ham Sandwich & Apply Crumble with Custard

Friday

Southern Fried Chicken with Chips, Quorn Dippers with Chips, Cheese Panini, Tuna Sandwich & Chocolate Ice Cream.
