Quay Weekly Update

As next week is the Harvest festival, we would be very grateful if parents/carers can provide non-perishable food donations, which will be given to our local Christ Church food bank. Donations can be dropped off in the school office any day next week, there will be a trolley in the office foyer for your donations. Alternatively, donations can be brought in through your child’s classroom door on Friday 17^th October and our wonderful office monitors will collect these. As always, your support for our local community is greatly appreciated.

Year 6 residential meeting- If your child is due to attend the upcoming residential, we strongly advise that you attend Tuesday’s afterschool meeting. In this meeting our year 6 team will share vital information about the trip, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions relating to the trip. Children should be collected from their classroom doors as usual, parents/carers can then enter the building from 3.30pm via the office doors.

Please note that the school book fair will be available after school from Tuesday 14^th October. Items will be available to purchase from the library from 3.30pm for a limited time only.

• 20^th October – School Photo Day (individual photos)
• 21^st October – Year 3 Sustainable Drainage Systems workshop (in school)
• 22^nd October – Last day of term & Non-school uniform/Halloween fancy dress (further details to follow)
• Thursday 23^rd October – Sunday 2^nd November School closed for half-term
