Communication

We want our parents to feel as much a part of your child’s education as possible. With the increased use of smartphone technology, we want to make sure that all parents are able to receive regular updates from our school.

MyEd is a free smartphone app that allows us to keep in touch with parents and share information about what is going on at Quay Academy.

The app provides general information regarding our school dates and news. You will also be able to access information regarding your child’s attendance.

We are able to send you messages directly to the MyEd app relating to important information about your child’s education and to remind you of events that are taking place at our school. You will receive a notification if we send you a message and there is no charge for the messages you send to us.
We also send consent forms for clubs, trips and activites that can be completed and returned via the app saving time and paper.

The MyEd app can be downloaded via the App Store on your iPhone, or Google Play for Android devices. For more information on how to download the app, please click on the document on the left-hand side.

If you have any difficulties accessing the app, or have any questions with regards to MyEd, please feel free to contact the school office (01262 673219).
